RELEASED INTO AUTO CLUB REVOLUTION®

The Auto Club Revolution team announces a raft of
new content for its Closed Beta Test phase

7th December 2011, London, United Kingdom, Eutechnyx today announced a major content update for its Closed Beta Test phase of free-to-play online racing game and car community, Auto Club Revolution. Available today, the update includes 14 new cars to drive, 3 new race tracks and sees the introduction of the performance upgrade shop.

The brand new set of cars span a broad range of models, from hot hatchbacks to boutique sports cars and every car is available to the game's beta testers from today.  Three new race tracks have been added to the test including officially licensed Infineon Raceway and two new configurations of the custom designed LA River track.

Brand new to the closed beta, the performance upgrade shop allows players to modify and upgrade their collection of cars via 6 categories of enhancement (drive train, suspension, wheels, engine, weight and forced induction).  The feature is built on the game's highly realistic racing engine which mathematically models every part of a car to deliver authentic driving and handling.

Executive Producer, Doug Wolff said, "The core philosophy of Auto Club Revolution's design is the ability to allow players to customise their experience, so the release of the performance upgrade shop into the closed beta is particularly exciting for the team.  In addition to the release of this feature, we've also unveiled more new cars and tracks which allows us to expand the scale of this phase of the beta test."

The new cars include a selection of fan favourites such as the Ford GT, TVR Tuscan S and Bentley Continental GT Speed providing high-end sports car thrills. Cult British two-seaters in the form of the exclusive 2008 Lotus Europa SE and the TVR T350T sit alongside the BMW Z4 M Coupe and the evergreen Mazda RX-7 in its Spirit R Type-A form. Other Japanese cars include the legendary Nissan Skyline R34 Nismo GT-R 20th Anniversary and the 2005 Acura NSX. Rounding off the selection for this update is the 2005 BMW M5, which weighs in as a fine competitor to the 2008 Jaguar XKR-S. Finishing off the group are the 2007 Vauxhall VXR8, the 2007 Opel Corsa OPC and the 2008 Ford Focus ST.
