growth funding of £1.8m to drive online game publishing division
Tuesday 1st November, 2011 – Gateshead, UK - Eutechnyx, one of the world’s leading independent game creators, today announce that they are successful in winning a regional growth fund of £1.8m from the Government. The fund will be used by the North East based company to develop a publishing operation for new online game and car community, Auto Club Revolution®, with the creation of up to 190 new jobs.
Auto Club Revolution (AutoClubRevolution.com) is the leading online racing game & car community, currently in closed beta testing and scheduled for release in 2012. The launch of a new publishing arm will require a dedicated marketing, support & operations team to bring the title to market and service a large customer base around the world.

Business secretary Vince Cable added “We need to be doing all we can to enable businesses and organisations to create much needed jobs and inject private investment into the economy. This is a very significant boost to local communities and the Regional Growth Fund will help businesses to drive local growth.”
